Milkweed

John Fass was an amateur naturalist, with a passion for the outdoors, despite living in the Bronx and working in Manhattan. He nurtured his need for nature with jaunts through city parks and with outdoor excursions "down home" in Lancaster County, PA.

Much of his nature photography focused on trees, leaves and arboreal subjects, but he also photographed other plants that attracted his attention, including the plants on this page.
